The Hypnobirth of Baby River
I want to reassure all mums-to-be that you don’t have to get lucky to enjoy your birth experience as much as I did. I’m not lucky, I just worked hard during pregnancy to prepare my mind, body and soul for my birth. I believe most women can have a blissful birth like me. My advice; be prepared to educate yourself on the journey ahead and use visualisation and breathing exercises such as hypnobirthing.
Why I’m glad my baby failed ‘Sleep School’
If you have a baby who: sleeps during the day, has the occasional cry but is generally settled, can be taken out without fear of having to spend the entire time apologising to everyone within earshot… then you don’t need to read this!
This story is for all the parents out there who have what is often labeled as an ‘unsettled’ baby who cries, refuses to sleep during the day and is basically making you doubt your natural abilities as a parent and sane person!
