Hi Melissa,

Just letting you know that our gorgeous son Tully Jarvis arrived Monday 26th November at 8.40am. 3.5 kg 56 cm, calm, happy and healthy. After 3 weeks of prelabour, a 23 hour labour and 12 days overdue (not induced), we finally had the calm, drug free birth we wanted. I managed to stay at home until i hit transition and 9 cm dilated! Just a few little issues led to a 2.5 hour active phase. He was wrapped three times in the cord (such a wriggly boy in utero) and wasn’t even engaged when I arrived at hospital. His head was tilted and wouldn’t descend. They used ventouse to reposition his head (which i did with no epidural) and he was born only two surges later.  He was just way too cosy in there The photo is of our relaxed little man taken three hours after birth.
