We welcomed our beautiful girl, Sage, a little earlier than expected at 38 weeks 4 days. I was induced due to my own health but was still able to have a beautiful positive birth. I laboured from 7:30am to 4:20pm, and used my breathing and Hypnobirthing tracks to remain calm and in control. I utilised a lot of movement and different positions during labour, as well as the shower as the hot water provided a relief and distraction. At 3:30pm when I changed position I had an overwhelming and uncontrollable feeling to bear down. I trusted my body and within an hour our girl arrived earth side.
