Hamish Gregory born 31 May 2012

Hi Melissa,
Just wanted to let you know our bub arrived on the 31st of May. His name is Hamish Gregory. His birth was amazing and totally drug free, I was at home for as long as possible which I think helped me stay calm. In the end when I was 10cm he needed to vacumed out straight away because his heart dropped and would go up.

Sean and Tina (doula ) were such a great team I couldn’t of done it without them. Whenever I had a contraction the only thing I thought of was the breathing out for 20 trick which helped alot. The whole way to hospital I had the effirmations blaring in my ipod to distract me.

We are so happy with our birth story and can’t thank you enough for how much it made a difference. Tina said it’s like she watched me become a different woman over the course of my pregnancy, In the begining I was so anxious and scared and a c-sec looked like a good choice to me then , but how different things were in the end.
