Bio
I’m Rosie, a mum, women’s health physiotherapist and childbirth educator. I love my husband Scott and our daughter Emilia. I play hockey and I make ceramics. I did not fully understand the profound impact that childbirth would have on me, until we had our beautiful daughter Emilia.
I have always been interested in helping mums have a healthy pregnancy. I am the only health professional in Australia who has post-graduate qualifications in both Sports Medicine and Pelvic Floor & Continence Physiotherapy. This puts me in a great position to work with mums like you; who want to understand your body and have faith in your own powerful ability. You are an information-seeker and want the best for yourself and your baby.
I believe the focus of any childbirth education should primarily be on positivity and learning evidence-based practice for the body and mind, to give the mother and her support person confidence. I wish all mothers & their support had access to this information, so they both feel empowered to make healthy choices and are excited to birth their baby!
