Bio
Hi I am Juliet. I have always had a passion for women’s health. Nursing for over 16 years in surgical, medical, maternity, and early parenting nursing made my passion even stronger. After studying Psychology followed by Clinical Hypnotherapy and Strategic Therapy, my aim was to support all women by helping them overcome symptoms of anxiety, depression, and birth trauma. During my time supporting women and new parents it became evident birth trauma was increasing. More women and partners needed support. It appeared women were not getting enough information to have a birth experience that they are happy with. A further passion developed to see the current culture of birth changed for women and for the rates of birth trauma to be reduced.
My focus is on empowering women to realise their true potential as women, birthing mothers, and parents. I believe in the importance of instilling confidence in birthing women and their bodies, confidence in their partners and support persons.
The importance of allowing them to be knowledgeable and equipped to make their own health decisions and choices by using evidence-based practice. By offering practical advice, tools, and techniques to support a calm relaxed birth no matter what direction birth takes.
