Natural that turned to caesarean
I had planned for a natural birth and attended the MPG group, and they recommended hypnoBirthing.
As a first time mum this really helped me prepare for what I wanted my babys birth to be and even when things changed it helped me cope and accept the new reality.
Induction was to occur.
Labour started hard and fast
Things progressed quickly unfortunately to quickly and we needed to slow things down.
Then what my body was doing didn’t line up with what my baby needed.
We tried different methods offered to me
Unfortunately they didnt work as we hoped And in the end we had to go for an emergency caesarean.
My baby girl was delivered quickly and what helped was the staff at every point informing me about what was happening, and my support people helping to advocate for what i had wanted.
I chose to be a single mum so i had my mum as my advocate to help with what I wanted for me and my baby.
And unfortunately though things didn’t go to plan. I am over the moon my mum helped arrange for my baby girl to be delivered safely.
