Hypnotherapy Rebate – Participating Health Funds

Some of our Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioners are Clinical Hypnotherapists, registered through the Australian Hypnotherapists Association; you may be eligible to claim a health fund rebate for hypnotherapy. Please check with your individual practitioner for eligibility.

Health Fund Rebates may be available

The following Health funds currently provide health fund rebates*. Some require the provider number to be quoted, and for others, your receipt is sufficient. Be sure to claim under hypnotherapy (not hypnobirthing) and see your specific policy for further details:

Health Fund Rebates – Privately Practising Midwives

You will need to seek classes from a practitioner who is a registered, privately practising midwife. You will need to request their provider number and receipt to enable a claim with your health fund provider.

The amount of the health fund rebate (if you are eligible) will depend on your particular health fund and your level of cover.

Also, please note that some funds require ’specific’ wording for claims – such as Hypnotherapy for Childbirth or Childbirth Education Classes. Every fund is different, so it would be worthwhile giving them a call.📞
