Bio
I am a registered nurse with an international healthcare background and a deep passion for helping parents approach birth with confidence, calm and understanding.
I trained in Northern Ireland, worked in the UK and later moved to Australia, gaining a broad perspective on healthcare and people‑centred support.
I spent many years working in Emergency Nursing, supporting people through intense and unpredictable moments. Later, while working in fertility nursing, I encountered endless stories of fear and traumatic births. At the same time, I realised I carried my own misconceptions about birth, shaped by the same fear‑based narratives so many parents absorb.
Everything changed when my sister chose hypnobirthing. Watching how it transformed her mindset and entire birth experience was a powerful light‑bulb moment for me. It inspired me to learn more and ultimately to train as a hypnobirthing practitioner.
Through the Positive Birth Program, I now support families with education, mindset and practical tools that complement medical care. I love creating a warm, supportive space where parents feel informed, empowered and truly ready for birth, whatever their journey looks like.
