PRACTITIONER TRAINING
The cost for our Practitioner training course is $2200.00 (incl. GST) which includes; all required Practitioner Training course materials (syllabus, lesson plans, scripts, birthing folio); advice on how to set up a viable and successful hypnobirthing business; expert training on how to engage your parents and enhance their learning experience; your first year’s membership fee (value $495); and your own listing page on our Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioner Directory when certified.
Additional exclusive training materials such as PowerPoint presentations, modern birthing videos, etc., are provided after certification requirements are met. You will be required to submit and pass assessment, obtain a First Aid Certificate, arrange for your own insurance and sign the Practitioner Agreement before becoming certified as a Hypnobirthing Australia Practitioner and receiving full access.
PREREQUISITES
Hypnosis Training:
If you don’t already have a background in hypnosis training – you will need to complete our 20 hours home-study ‘Basics of Hypnosis for Childbirth’ module. It is preferred that you complete this module before the Practitioner Course begins, when possible. The cost for this module is $350 including GST.
Childbirth Training:
If you are not midwife, student midwife (2nd year onwards), qualified doula, qualified childbirth educator, doctor or nurse (with childbirth training); then our ‘Introduction to Childbirth’ course is required. This course has been especially designed for the Hypnobirthing Australia™ program and is presented by experienced midwife and Clinical Lecturer of Midwifery, Mae’t Pearson. This module is available as a 20 hours of home-study module and costs $350.00 (incl. GST) and consists of 5 hours of video lectures, a comprehensive workbook, accompanying book and valuable information for pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. This module is only available to Practitioner Course participants.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your seat at an upcoming course. Should you be required to complete either of the pre-requisite modules – ‘Introduction to Childbirth’ or ‘Basics of Hypnosis for Childbirth’; please ensure to select these when you register.
Final payment is due 30 days prior to the course start date.
CERTIFICATION
Certification is granted after the successful completion of the official Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioner Course, signing of the Practitioner Agreement and Standards of Practice (which you will receive upon registration and needs to returned prior to training and dispatch of course materials) and upon successful completion of Hypnobirthing Australia Practitioner Assessment requirements (assessment is due within 90 days of the final training date). A signed ‘Standards of Practice’ document and current ‘Practitioner Agreement’, indicates that the practitioner understands the philosophy of Hypnobirthing Australia and the Standards of Practice and agreement requirements and agrees to abide by them in the teaching of Hypnobirthing Australia™/Hypnobubs™ programs.
Attendance at a Practitioner Certification class does not equate to automatic certification. Requests for exception to any of these terms must be reviewed and determined by a director of Hypnobirthing Australia.
Your first year of certification and membership fee (from the date of training) is included in your Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioner Course (value $495). An annual renewal process, membership renewal fee ($495), code of conduct, valid First Aid Certificate (unless you have current medical qualifications), insurance, and continuing professional development (10 hours of CPD relevant to birth/hypnotherapy/content of the course) is required to remain certified to teach the program, have access to our teaching materials, ongoing support and keep your profile/listing page live on our website.
IMPORTANT
Please note that this course is only available to those who intend to teach the Hypnobirthing Australia™/Hypnobubs™ programs. The training and course materials are not to be incorporated into any other program or used to create alternative programs. This is a very strict term and condition for enrolment.
PRACTICE
Only practitioners holding current certification with Hypnobirthing Australia may teach the Hypnobirthing Australia™/Hypnobubs™ programs and use any of the program materials (Works listed in the Practitioner Agreement).
CANCELLATION POLICY
The course deposit and self-study modules (once dispatched) are non-refundable. Refund for the residual amount of the course will be granted up to 30 days prior to the start date of the workshop or the enrollee may choose to assign the tuition fee to a future course with the same instructor, forfeiting the right to refund at the selected future course. No refund or transfers will be granted following that date. Should the event be cancelled by Hypnobirthing Australia, a full refund is applicable, less any materials/self-study modules already received by the delegate. The event organiser reserves the right to make alternative venue arrangements should the need arise, which may include running the course via live online webinar series course format.
PAYMENT PROCESSING (SECURITY POLICY)
When purchasing from Hypnobirthing Australia, card details are transmitted through a secure server using the eWAY payment gateway utilising our Westpac Internet Merchant Facility (IMF). Card details are hosted by eWAY after processing to ensure PCI DSS compliance and all card data in encrypted using SSL to ensure your credit card information can be safely transmitted to our payment gateway.
