About the instructor:

Mae’t Perason
(RM BMID Hons MMID):

Mae’t undertook her midwifery degree in the United Kingdom and received a Bachelor of Midwifery with Honours. She continued her tertiary education and achieved a Master of Midwifery in 2010. Her research has focused on women’s needs and reducing traumatic birth for women and families. Mae’t has been a midwifery clinical lecturer with the University of Queensland and now practices as a Medicare Eligible Independent Midwife.  She has used her extensive knowledge and expertise to put together the ‘Introduction to Childbirth’ module, which specifically aligns with the philosophy of the Hypnobirthing Australia/Hypnobubs courses.
