Hi, my name is Rachel. I am a Nurse, Midwife, and Childbirth Educator, who is passionate about empowering and supporting women during their pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I believe in birth and I believe in women, in their power, strength and abilities. I have the privilege to witness this every day.
I discovered the tool of Hypnobirthing in 2017 and have supported women who have used Hypnobirthing for a positive and empowering birth experience. The power of the mind and body connection during birth is strong. Understanding this and incorporating the tools learnt during Hypnobirthing classes aids for a calm and relaxed birth experience. Skills learnt can be used not only in birth, but in all areas of life that we may feel fear or apprehension towards.
My desire is for women to be well equipped with the knowledge and understanding of their birthing options, be involved in the decisions regarding their care and make informed choices based on current evidence. Creating positive and empowering birth experiences, so that we may have positive and empowering parents, partners, family and friends.

I am a nurse midwife with a passion for education. I feel strongly that women should be knowledgable and prepared for birth. I have seen the fear and misinformation that exists around birth and want women to reconnect with the knowledge and understanding that birth is normal and have confidence that their body can birth their baby. I believe birth is transformative and want to prepare women to embrace their transformation to motherhood in the most positive way possible. I believe that no matter how women birth it can be empowering and positive. As a Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioner I want to assist women and their birth partners to achieve the positive birth they desire, whatever that may be.

Practice Name: Sarah Searle
Location of Service: Warrnambool and the South West area (VIC)
Sarah is a registered midwife and nurse who has a passion for pregnancy, birth and beyond. She has been working as a midwife for 8 years now and through various hospitals realised there was a vast lack of additional education to help prepare women and their partners for birth. She started researching some alternates to help guide women and discovered Hypnobirthing Australia. She then witnessed a couple practising Hypnobirthing and was in awe and knew she had to take this further.
She and her husband decided to do a Hypnobirthing Australia course with their first pregnancy and were amazed at the positive and calm effects it had on their birth. Sarah went on to have 2 hypnobirthing bubs, one very calm and serene natural birth and the 2nd a very precipitate natural birth outside the hospital front doors. It was then she decided she needed to become a practitioner and share this amazing education with the world.
Sarah is available to Warrnambool and the South West area of Victoria. She can be contacted on 0439 345 919 or at email@example.com

Natalie came across Hypnobirthing Australia by chance after a work colleague told her she, ‘loved giving birth and couldn’t wait to do it again!’. It was the first time Natalie had ever heard birth described so positively and immediately signed up for the course.
In September 2018, Natalie had a life-changing calm and positive birth for her first baby, Freddy. She describes the birth as the proudest moment of her life. Immediately after his birth, she felt an undeniable urge to become a Hypnobirth Childbirth Educator so that she could share the incredible tools and techniques she had learned with as many parents as possible.
Natalie is passionate about preparing women and their birth partners with the tools and knowledge that will allow them to feel prepared and excited for their birth no matter what turn it takes. Natalie believes that a calm and positive birth can be transformational beyond just the birthing day – her hope is that these skills continue to be of use for both the mother and birthing partner throughout the parenting journey.

Jackie has been working in the health and wellness industry since 1993 in her roles as a medical scientist, fitness instructor and Yoga teacher. For years she has creatively integrated Yoga’s ancient mind and body wisdom to help women lead a healthy, active and peaceful pregnancy in her antenatal yoga classes. She has literally shared in hundreds of birth stories, including her own to twin daughters.
However, she has also witnessed so much fear, ignorance and confusion surrounding childbirth and the decision-making and organisation of maternity care. Jackie was eager to add hypnobirthing to her qualifications so she can give mothers the essential tools, support and confidence they need to follow their instincts and make conscious choices throughout pregnancy and birth.
Due to her diverse background, Jackie’s classes stem from the unique perspective of integrating age-old holistic birthing knowledge with the advancing science of childbirth. Mothers gain deep understanding of birth physiology plus respect for the hidden powers of their bodies. Her classes provide mothers and partners with an antenatal education program that supports and empowers women to have a positive and sacred birth experience.
Jackie runs hypnobirthing classes in a lovingly-built studio behind her home in Brighton, South Australia.

Hello all, so lovely to be here!
Since the birth of my first baby in 2011, I have been supporting couples as a Doula, Childbirth Educator and Placenta Encapsulator, after making the move from my corporate background in IT & Telco to follow my passion and longing to make a difference in the lives of birthing women and their partners, one birth at a time.
I service mainly the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and North Shore areas of Sydney but also travel as far south as Sutherland Shire, west as far as Westmead and North as far as the Northern Beaches for my clients on request.
I am the mother of two, one angel baby by the name of Juniper and a rainbow baby by the name of Mie. It was through my first pregnancy and birth experience that I decided to train as a Doula and since that time back in 2011 I have been so passionate about the rite of passage that birth can be for a woman and her partner and have to date supported over 50 couples as a Doula and over 1000 as a Placenta Encapsulator.
Having supported a number of Doula couples that had completed the Hypnobirthing Australia training in their pregnancies, I have found their labours to have been the most beautiful, calm and empowering which have inspired me to become an instructor myself.
With the right knowledge, tools, support and preparation gained through the amazing Positive Birth Program, I know you too can have the birth of your dreams, no matter how it unfolds.
I look forward to meeting you and being your guide in one of the most life-changing and magical moments of your lives!

I believe that mothers, babies and families, all deserve better.
I’m Edriana and I want to help ensure the beginning of your baby’s life and your transition into parenthood is positive and supported.
I commenced my Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) straight out of high school, knowing that I wanted to help people. After watching a close friend go through a traumatic birth experience, I knew I didn’t want that to happen again to her or anyone else.
I completed the Hypnobirthing Australia course as an expectant mother in 2017 and will always look back on the birth of my son as one of the best days of my life. Although I had special circumstances, Lincoln’s birth empowered and astonished me, it lifted me up in a time when I needed to be lifted to make that transition into parenthood.
Motherhood changes you. What I now know is that I want to do more, I want to help mothers, babies and families have better experiences in pregnancy, birth and through the transition into parenthood.
I’ve become a certified Hypnobirthing Australia Practitioner because I want to help you on this sacred journey. Please feel free to contact me to find out more.

Practice Name: Adelaide Lactation Consultants & Midwifery
Location of Service: Sheidow Park (SA)
Megan is a Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Medicare – Endorsed Midwife with over 20 years experience providing comprehensive, holistic and evidence-based care to families. During this time Megan has gained extensive experience in providing pregnancy, postnatal, newborn and breastfeeding support to guide many women and families to succeed in early parenting. This experience has been attained in a variety of settings throughout Adelaide, including country, private and large metropolitan hospitals as well as in continuity midwifery models.
Megan is a Childbirth Educator and holds a Certificate in Perinatal Mental Health as well as skills in acupressure, gentle myofascial release and is a certified HypnoMothering Practitioner.
After the birth of her child, Megan realised the fragmented care within the constraints of hospitals/obstetric care meant that often women and families were not set up to succeed in birth or beyond. Women were scared and coerced into decisions that they were poorly educated to make. The huge void in postnatal support meant women were poorly equipped for success. She realised that women needed to feel nurtured, listen to and supported to develop the skills necessary to grow and thrive in pregnancy and in their new parenting role.
Megan began her successful private practice- Adelaide Lactation Consultants & Midwifery to change the way care is offered by supporting and enriching families on their journey. A flexible approach to midwifery care means women can find a care option to suit them! Megan believes that Hypnobirthing will be a valuable addition to her care options available.

I’m Clare – mum, doula and childbirth educator. As a doula of 16 years, I have had the honour of supporting many women during labour and birth and without doubt, the ones who fare best are those that have a realistic understanding of what to expect, how to work with their bodies and minds and who have belief in their own ability and power.
The process of labour and birth is one of life’s rites of passage – it has the opportunity of teaching us to surrender, dig deep, to trust, to find what we need within us and celebrate the power we are stepping into. When we cross the threshold from maiden to mother we are forever transformed – none of us forget birthing our babies and the process we went through to bring them earthside. We e and they, deserve a memory that is at least positive, if not beautiful!
Birth is sacred – it and the vessel through which it occurs, us mummas, should be revered, honoured, respected and trusted to do the job we know we and our babies are innately wired for. Hypnobirthing Australia’s positive birth program helps us show caregivers what we are made of!

I believe that the best way to live a happy and fulfilled life is by following the topics, people, and experiences that light you up and set your soul ablaze. Putting your energy towards things that bring you joy. Birth, in particular, Hypnobirthing, lights me up and I know without a doubt that supporting women and sharing my knowledge on the power of birth with them is my dharma, my soul’s mission in this lifetime.
To me, birth is not a medical event. Birth is a sacred rite of passage for women, from Maiden to Mother. The single most transformative event of our lives. A day that stays with you forever. I feel immense gratitude that I discovered Hypnobirthing Australia during my first pregnancy and have had two incredible natural birth experiences. These experiences have shaped me into the woman and mother I am today.
I am a born nurturer. Growing up I thought of my sensitive, empathic nature as being a weakness, but I now know it is my superpower and my gift to share with the world. I feel honoured that I will get to connect with, support and help women to have a wonderful birthing experience.

Practice Name: Coffs Coast Childbirth Education
Location of Classes: Coffs Harbour, Sawtell
Hi, I’m Tanya! I’m a part-time youth mental health worker and a passionate childbirth educator. I have a boho, chilled out vibe, a wicked sense of humour, and I like to stop and smell the salt air at every opportunity. I’ve lived on the Coffs Coast for 10 years and honestly couldn’t think of a better spot to raise my two hypnobubs.
I have a background in social welfare and have a special interest in psychology and human behaviour. I want to teach people about the wonderful, positive aspects of pregnancy and childbirth (yes, birth can be joyful!), and help women tap into their power and inner wisdom. I believe in woman-centred care, evidence-based practice, and informed consent. I believe women are the experts in their lives and aim to give them and their birth partners the skills and confidence to birth without fear, have faith in their abilities, advocate for their preferences, and enjoy the magic of bringing their babies earthside.
If you would like to talk more about your childbirth plans please contact me to discuss upcoming group or individual classes.

Hello, I am Roshelle and I am a Hypnobirthing Australia mother of two. I am also very passionate about my other job, which is supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals.

I felt so empowered, calm and at ease during both my births and I want women everywhere to be able to experience the same positive birth experience that I did.
I strongly believe that women need to be positively educated and supported to achieve the best birth possible. I am so excited to be a Hypnobirthing Australia Practitioner and to be able to positively educate and support women and their birth companions. Birth is a journey that starts in pregnancy, and the implications of which last a lifetime. I want everyone’s birth to be the best possible journey it can be!
Practice Name: Full Circle Yoga and Hypnobirthing
Location of Service: Brighton (QLD)
Hi, I’m Amy and I’m all about women having joyful pregnancies, births and beyond!
As soon as I found out I was pregnant with my second child the fear of labour descended on me. I would describe the birth of my first child as traumatic and not an experience I was keen to repeat. I began to search for a more gentle, empowered way to give birth and came across the Hypnobirthing Australia Positive Birth Program. I went on to have a beautiful birth with my second child, and recently added number three to the clan using Hypnobirthing Australia techniques.
I am also a qualified yoga teacher specialising in pregnant and post-natal women. I have extensive knowledge of the physiology of the pregnant body and will work with you to create a healthy body and mindset for your pregnancy, labour and your journey into parenthood.
My goal is to empower women and their support persons to make educated decisions that serve them, their babies and their vision of a positive birth. It’s not about having a textbook perfect birth, it’s about having YOUR version of a positive birth.
I offer small group classes on the Northside of Brisbane, where you can meet and connect with others who are on the same journey as you. I also offer private classes by appointment.

Hi, I have been teaching HypnoBirthing since 2007, during that time I have taught lots mums and their birthing partners.
I believe that every woman, their partner and baby deserves to have the best birth possible, whatever path their birth takes.
I love seeing mums starting the ‘Positive Birth Program’ and watching them change as we work through the classes to eventually being confident and looking forward to giving birth. Also, seeing birthing partners coming in apprehensive and watching them becoming the biggest advocators for Hypnobirthing.
I moved to Australia from Scotland in December 2019, to be with my children and four Hypnobirthing grandchildren. I am also running my private counselling practise and studying for a Bachelors in Arts Psychotherapy.
I decided to update my training with Hypnobirthing Australia™. I love the flexibility and the techniques Hypnobirthing Australia™ provides.
I am now teaching small classes and individuals couples, in Drummoyne, Sydney CBD or in peoples homes.

As my passion is life itself, why not start at the beginning. Hypnobirthing!
I was so excited about the concept of hypnobirthing I became a hypnobirthing practitioner. I was not aware of these techniques and somewhat envious that I had not had the privilege of being a Hypnobirthing mum myself. The birth of my two boys are in the storybook of birthing hell thirty-six years ago. I like so many new and young mums had no idea what to expect on those eventful days. Full of fear, pain and a lack of understanding and communication. However my two beautiful son’s Daniel and Christopher. Who have grown and developed into wonderful young men, what more can a mother ask for? Well, I wish at the time of each birth I knew then what I know now. I believe that knowledge is power and with power you can control, with control you have calmness and calmness is a relaxed state of mind that allows you to focus on the task at hand.
“Energy flows were attention goes.”
To complement my hypnobirthing practitioner’s qualifications I am also a qualified Hypnotherapist and a NLP Masters practitioner.
(Nero linguistic programming)
With the combination of all these techniques, the only outcome for anything we set our mind to is,
I’m looking forward to spending quality time with you, empowering you with the tools and knowledge of positive birthing and share in one of your greatest achievements without fear or anxiety, together we can make your birthing experience simply remarkable!

Hello, and Welcome!
My name is Barbara. I have been passionate about pregnancy and childbirth from an early age.
After living in several countries and being fortunate enough to be the birth partner and doula for my dearest expat’s friends who didn’t have family around, I have had the opportunity to learn about different relaxation birth methods and techniques.
I came across Hypnobirthing Australia™ when I became pregnant, and I was astounded how complete and informative the course is compared to others. It is like all the other courses I learnt merged into one, and I fell in love straight away.
I am a proud hypnobirthing mum of one, and I would love to share my experience to help other mums to have a positive pregnancy and childbirth experience.
I believe every woman must have the birth they desire.
Send me an email on hello@hypnomami, and I look forward to supporting you on one of life’s most amazing experiences.

My name is Jacqueline O’Neill, but everyone calls me Jackie. My family consists of my 2 amazing children (20 months apart) an incredibly supportive husband and a cat and dog. Our house is crazy, loud and well lived in and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I have a colourful background. I was born in Switzerland and grew up in Nigeria. We travelled a lot as children. I always thought that was the norm, until we settled in Western Australia. It was then that I realised just how lucky we were – most of the kids in school had never even had the opportunity to see snow.
I speak fluent Swiss-German, German and English – I am grateful my Father kept speaking Swiss to us when we came to Australia.
My intrigue in the body and all that is birth was sparked with my first pregnancy. I had a Breech baby on board and had to fight for my right to birth how I believed my body could. I am sure things would have ended very differently had I not done Independent Childbirth Education and surrounded myself with supportive people.
I went on to have a very empowering positive birth, after changing providers at 39 weeks.
Because of this, I recognised how important it is for birthing women and their Partners to be informed, empowered and supported throughout their journey.
This is YOUR journey, no one else’s. Embrace it, surrender to it and fill yourself with knowledge.
I can’t wait to share all the incredible, empowering tools that Hypnobirthing Australia has to offer.
