Hi, I’m Vanessa; I am a registered Paediatric nurse and I teach undergraduate nursing students. I am also a first time mum to my very own hypnobub!
I remember feeling so excited about my baby’s arrival but I had these internal fears that kept popping up. Throughout my pregnancy, all I heard were horror stories of birth and was recommend to opt for an epidural or elective c-section to save me from what sounded like trauma I was about to endure!
I had a wonderful Obstetrician who recommended hypnobirthing to me and it was absolutely life changing for me and my husband! I went on to have a beautiful, calm and positive birthing experience that left me feeling on top of the world and so empowered.
I am very passionate about women’s health and preparing expectant mothers and their partners for birth. Every woman deserves to feel empowered to make informed decisions, remain positive before, during and after the birth of her baby.
I am so excited to be a Hypnobirthing Australia practitioner and be a part of the incredible hypnobirthing world. I cannot wait to teach you the tools, knowledge, preparation and support to bring your beautiful baby earthside.

As a mother of two, Michelle chose to learn the hypnobirthing techniques during her pregnancies and was able to utilise the amazing benefits during her births.
Her passion is supporting women to understand the physiological changes occurring in their bodies, and arming them with tools to feel confident and competent in their abilities to have a positive birthing experience, no matter what circumstances may arise.
I am a Hypnobirthing mother of 2 young children, Hypnobirthing Practitioner and passionate advocate for positive birth.
When I was pregnant with my first child I was labelled high risk and it seemed I was only being prepared for interventions. I realised that I needed to regain control and bring the joy back into my pregnancy!
Hypnobirthing gave me all the tools I needed to ensure a calm, positive birth – knowledge, breath, partner support and belief. My passion for Hypnobirthing grew during my second pregnancy, and amazing birth, and I knew then that I had to share Hypnobirthing with as many couples as possible.
As a Hypnobirthing Practitioner, I am driven to make sure mothers understand their choices and feel empowered to make those choices. I also want birthing partners to feel confident and calm in the birthing process so that they can be a strong advocate and support for the mother.
I run classes out of Wellness on Whatley in Maylands and Remède in Mosman Park.
I also run classes in the Wheatbelt and would love to hear from any Wheatbelt mums who would like classes in their area.

After a lifetime of being fed visions of Hollywood-style birth, and having many friends face traumatic experiences when they had their babies, Kate was apprehensive about birth to say the least. She started asking around, and on recommendation from a friend, completed the Hypnobirthing Australia course before the birth of her daughter in late 2017. It was a beautiful, unmedicated, natural birth (as was her preference) and the most incredible, empowering experience of her life. It had such a profound effect on her that she knew she had to train so that she could, in turn, help other mothers and couples have the positive, empowering birth that they too deserve to have.
With a background in Psychology and Performance, Kate’s interests and skills marry perfectly for delivering this up to date, evidence-based Australian course. She is incredibly excited to be helping parents and birth partners in Sydney achieve a calm, positive, informed birth experience.

Sarah is a registered midwife and nurse who has a passion for pregnancy, birth and beyond. She has been working as a midwife for 8 years now and through various hospitals realised there was a vast lack of additional education to help prepare women and their partners for birth. She started researching some alternates to help guide women and discovered Hypnobirthing Australia. She then witnessed a couple practising Hypnobirthing and was in awe and knew she had to take this further.
She and her husband decided to do a Hypnobirthing Australia course with their first pregnancy and were amazed at the positive and calm effects it had on their birth. Sarah went on to have 2 hypnobirthing bubs, one very calm and serene natural birth and the 2nd a very precipitate natural birth outside the hospital front doors. It was then she decided she needed to become a practitioner and share this amazing education with the world.
Sarah is available to Warrnambool and the South West area of Victoria. She can be contacted on 0439 345 919 or at firstname.lastname@example.org

Jackie has been working in the health and wellness industry since 1993 in her roles as a medical scientist, fitness instructor and Yoga teacher. For years she has creatively integrated Yoga’s ancient mind and body wisdom to help women lead a healthy, active and peaceful pregnancy in her antenatal yoga classes. She has literally shared in hundreds of birth stories, including her own to twin daughters.
However, she has also witnessed so much fear, ignorance and confusion surrounding childbirth and the decision-making and organisation of maternity care. Jackie was eager to add hypnobirthing to her qualifications so she can give mothers the essential tools, support and confidence they need to follow their instincts and make conscious choices throughout pregnancy and birth.
Due to her diverse background, Jackie’s classes stem from the unique perspective of integrating age-old holistic birthing knowledge with the advancing science of childbirth. Mothers gain deep understanding of birth physiology plus respect for the hidden powers of their bodies. Her classes provide mothers and partners with an antenatal education program that supports and empowers women to have a positive and sacred birth experience.
Jackie runs hypnobirthing classes in a lovingly-built studio behind her home in Brighton, South Australia.

Hello all, so lovely to be here!
Since the birth of my first baby in 2011, I have been supporting couples as a Doula, Childbirth Educator and Placenta Encapsulator, after making the move from my corporate background in IT & Telco to follow my passion and longing to make a difference in the lives of birthing women and their partners, one birth at a time.
I service mainly the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and North Shore areas of Sydney but also travel as far south as Sutherland Shire, west as far as Westmead and North as far as the Northern Beaches for my clients on request.
I am the mother of two, one angel baby by the name of Juniper and a rainbow baby by the name of Mie. It was through my first pregnancy and birth experience that I decided to train as a Doula and since that time back in 2011 I have been so passionate about the rite of passage that birth can be for a woman and her partner and have to date supported over 50 couples as a Doula and over 1000 as a Placenta Encapsulator.
Having supported a number of Doula couples that had completed the Hypnobirthing Australia training in their pregnancies, I have found their labours to have been the most beautiful, calm and empowering which have inspired me to become an instructor myself.
With the right knowledge, tools, support and preparation gained through the amazing Positive Birth Program, I know you too can have the birth of your dreams, no matter how it unfolds.
I look forward to meeting you and being your guide in one of the most life-changing and magical moments of your lives!

I believe the Hypnobubs course, can provide women and their partners with the knowledge tools resources and ongoing support to achieve a positive calm birth.

I believe that mothers, babies and families, all deserve better.
I’m Edriana and I want to help ensure the beginning of your baby’s life and your transition into parenthood is positive and supported.
I commenced my Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) straight out of high school, knowing that I wanted to help people. After watching a close friend go through a traumatic birth experience, I knew I didn’t want that to happen again to her or anyone else.
I completed the Hypnobirthing Australia course as an expectant mother in 2017 and will always look back on the birth of my son as one of the best days of my life. Although I had special circumstances, Lincoln’s birth empowered and astonished me, it lifted me up in a time when I needed to be lifted to make that transition into parenthood.
Motherhood changes you. What I now know is that I want to do more, I want to help mothers, babies and families have better experiences in pregnancy, birth and through the transition into parenthood.
I’ve become a certified Hypnobirthing Australia Practitioner because I want to help you on this sacred journey. Please feel free to contact me to find out more.

Megan is a Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Medicare – Endorsed Midwife with over 20 years experience providing comprehensive, holistic and evidence-based care to families. During this time Megan has gained extensive experience in providing pregnancy, postnatal, newborn and breastfeeding support to guide many women and families to succeed in early parenting. This experience has been attained in a variety of settings throughout Adelaide, including country, private and large metropolitan hospitals as well as in continuity midwifery models.
Megan is a Childbirth Educator and holds a Certificate in Perinatal Mental Health as well as skills in acupressure, gentle myofascial release and is a certified HypnoMothering Practitioner.
After the birth of her child, Megan realised the fragmented care within the constraints of hospitals/obstetric care meant that often women and families were not set up to succeed in birth or beyond. Women were scared and coerced into decisions that they were poorly educated to make. The huge void in postnatal support meant women were poorly equipped for success. She realised that women needed to feel nurtured, listen to and supported to develop the skills necessary to grow and thrive in pregnancy and in their new parenting role.
Megan began her successful private practice- Adelaide Lactation Consultants & Midwifery to change the way care is offered by supporting and enriching families on their journey. A flexible approach to midwifery care means women can find a care option to suit them! Megan believes that Hypnobirthing will be a valuable addition to her care options available.

I’m Clare – mum, doula and childbirth educator. As a doula of 16 years, I have had the honour of supporting many women during labour and birth and without doubt, the ones who fare best are those that have a realistic understanding of what to expect, how to work with their bodies and minds and who have belief in their own ability and power.
The process of labour and birth is one of life’s rites of passage – it has the opportunity of teaching us to surrender, dig deep, to trust, to find what we need within us and celebrate the power we are stepping into. When we cross the threshold from maiden to mother we are forever transformed – none of us forget birthing our babies and the process we went through to bring them earthside. We e and they, deserve a memory that is at least positive, if not beautiful!
Birth is sacred – it and the vessel through which it occurs, us mummas, should be revered, honoured, respected and trusted to do the job we know we and our babies are innately wired for. Hypnobirthing Australia’s positive birth program helps us show caregivers what we are made of!
