Bio
Hello! I am a registered Midwife/Nurse since 2011. I started my professional life in a Melbourne Tertiary hospital where I was exposed to the diversity of pregnancy, birth and postnatal. I have witnessed the uncomplicated, undisturbed pregnancy and birth and have also cared for and supported some of the most complex journeys. I specialised in a Maternal and Fetal Medicine unit where I acquired unique skills as well as an Obstetrics/Gynaecology emergency department, along with experience in various other areas. I then moved on to a rural lower risk hospital service where I currently practice.
I have four vibrant children and their journeys earthside are what have influenced my hypnobirthing journey and desire to facilitate a calm passage to parenthood.
Every woman and their support person should understand their rights; be equipped with the best available evidence to grow their knowledge; and learn about and embrace the tools that offer them an empowering transition into parenthood. I am all about the village it takes to raise a child, however, I also believe we all need a village of support that shape us throughout life, for birth, Hypnobirthing Australia can be a part of your village!
