Meet Dee, your motherhood mentor! She believes every woman deserves to have her own positive birthing experience. As a birth and postpartum doula with a toddler on the go, Dee understands firsthand the importance of feeling supported and empowered during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

Her journey towards becoming a Hypnobirthing Australia Practitioner began with her own positive homebirth experience in which she felt calm, ready to birth and in control of her body. She felt confident making educated decisions rather than feeling lost or coerced. This sparked a desire to help other families achieve the same for their birth.

Prior to her homebirth, Dee felt terrified of birth, so Dee knows firsthand how powerful the Positive Birth Program can be. With support, education and trust in your own abilities, Dee believes that birth can be a beautiful, transformative experience, regardless of what your circumstances may be.

Dee is a firm believer in “mothering the mother” and loves providing support to help achieve a positive birth and a smooth transition to life as parents. In addition to her doula and hypnobirthing practitioner qualifications, Dee holds qualifications in Pre and Post Natal Exercise and Nutrition so she can help you feel at your best no matter where you are along your birthing journey, and beyond.
